TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PAYMENTS

All monies, including part payment balances for finance plans are required to be paid in full on or prior to delivery to Kingsway Motor Company (UK) Ltd and can be paid in the following methods -

1 - Bank Transfer for final payments

2 - Cash

3 - Bankers Draft/Building Society Cheque subject to clearance

4 - Personal Cheque (Please allow 5 days to clear though)

Please note part payments are not refundable

PART EXCHANGE

The price agreed for your part exchange on valuation is fixed, should any equipment or accessories be removed the valuation shall be adjusted accordingly. Please remember to bring with you on handover the following items:

1 - V5 Document 2 - Current MoT Certificate 3 - Any relevant service history

4 - Any relevant paperwork that may include invoices for works carried out on your part exchange

LOG BOOK LOANS

If your part exchange is found to have remaining/outstanding loans then the outstanding amount shall be paid in full to Kingsway Motor Company (UK) Ltd

STORAGE CHARGES

Kingsway Motor Company (UK) Ltd reserves the right to charge reasonable storage fees for customer's or external company's vehicles after 7 days of storage.

RAC WARRANTY

At Kingsway Motor Company we supply all our cars with a free 6 month warranty, though comprehensive it does not cover all items. It shall not cover wear and tear age related items, please read the booklet for further items. We do however, offer extended warranties which can be taken out over 24 or 36 months.

RAC BREAKDOWN COVER

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure they have breakdown cover in place. We supply 1 year free breakdown cover through the RAC. This cover must be activated by the customer unless they have cover in place already. Failure to activate free RAC breakdown cover will result in the customer being fully responsible for all recovery costs.

REFUND OR EXCHANGE POLICY

In the event of a major mechanical fault occurring in your 30 day refund policy we shall endeavour to exchange primarily or refund if nothing else is suitable. Mileage and usage will be deducted from your refund amount, please note that refunds are paid by company cheque and in the event of this happening all vehicles must be returned to Kingsway Motor Company. Once a repair has been authorised the repair must be undertaken by ourselves and returned when we are satisfied the car is fully serviceable, this will affect your right to reject under the 30 policy as you have instructed a repair. 

THIRD PARTY WORK

Kingsway Motor Company (UK) Ltd is an automotive retail outlet and does not operate its own workshops. Kingsway Motor Company(UK) Ltd does not take responsibility or liability for work carried out by third-party workshops / garages or their timeframes. In the event of a valid claim, this will fall under the repairing workshop's own insurance and good practice guarantees. In the event of mechanical issues arising from work previously carried out, it is the customer's responsibility to contact the third-party workshop for remedial work. Work carried out by a third party workshop without prior authorisation by Kingsway Motor Company (UK) Ltd will not be reimbursed.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

As a customer of Kingsway Motor Company (UK) Ltd, I acknowledge that I am purchasing a used car and, as such, expect that the majority of parts on the vehicle to be part worn. Although checked, any part has the potential to fail at any time. It is the duty and responsibility of the customer to maintain the roadworthiness of the vehicle and its associated parts that are not covered under the supplied RAC Warranty. I am happy to proceed with this purchase with the understanding that worn parts might have to be replaced by me throughout my ownership of my vehicle.

INSURANCE

Please make sure your vehicle is insured before driving away from the premises as we DO NOT offer drive away insurance.
